handler, validate decoded containers against the CLI rules: reject when
ref_video_audios has more entries than ref_videos, and reject ref_videos or
ref_audios for non-VID_GEN requests. Ensure the checks run before conversion so
none of these references are silently ignored.

to compare chunk_size and data_size against the bytes remaining from
chunk_data_pos or data_pos, rather than adding attacker-controlled sizes to
offsets. Compute next_pos only after confirming the chunk size and padding fit,
and preserve the existing end-of-buffer clamp behavior.

🟡 Minor · Reject empty per-video frame arrays during parsing. · common.cpp:2031-2066
examples/common/common.cpp:2031-2066
🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick winReject empty per-video frame arrays during parsing.
ref_videos: [[]]is accepted byparse_video_array_json_field, so/sdcpp/v1/vid_genqueues the job and rejects the request later, inside generation. A malformed frame is rejected synchronously with HTTP 400. The empty array should fail the same way.Suggested fix
if (!video.is_array()) { return false; } + if (video.empty()) { + return false; + } std::vector<SDImageOwner> frames;🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

🟠 Major · Register ref_video_audios in all video feature metadata paths. · model_catalog.cpp:315-316
examples/server/model_catalog.cpp:315-316
🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick winRegister
ref_video_audiosin all video feature metadata paths.
ref_video_audiosis parsed and consumed as a per-video input, but recipes cannot declare it becausek_recipe_featuresrejects the missing name. Clients also cannot discover it becausemake_vid_gen_features_json()omits it. The recipe feature mapping omits it as well. Add the distinct feature to all three locations. Keepref_audiosfor standalone audio references.Suggested fix

Summary
The most popular model on internet right now is minimax h3 for video creation, only the sd-cli supports the important flags
--ref-video --ref-video-audio --ref-audio. These are absolutely needed in sd-server to even compete against comfyUI, or do a proper video.
The vid_gen HTTP endpoint parsed ref_images but silently dropped the
audio/video reference fields, so CLI-style reference workflows
(MiniMax-H3 Ref2VA, Wan S2V driving audio) could not be reproduced
over the API. Add base64 array parsing for ref_videos (nested frame
arrays), ref_audios, and ref_video_audios, with load_wav_from_memory
extracted from load_wav_from_file to parse in-memory payloads.
